Lighting Controls Job Summary
The primary responsibility of the Controls CAD Designer is to manage all aspects of lighting controls design from system take-off and sales support through submittal drawing creation and construction support. The Controls CAD Designer should be a self-starting lighting control system designer with strong organizational skills, customer service focus and AutoCAD skills to be a part the The MH Companies lighting controls department. 
Within these markets, we assist each project team in selecting and designing the best controls strategy for their unique needs, including occupancy sensing, scheduling, daylight harvesting, personal control and task tuning, plug load device control, building automation systems integration, and load shedding solutions.

Lighting Sales Job Summary
The primary responsibility of the sales position is to develop and maintain sales as well as a good working relationship for all assigned accounts while working with all departments to facilitate follow-through on orders.
 
Summary of Essential Job Functions:
  • Develop and maintain sales for all assigned accounts
  • Meet or exceed established sales goals, making at least 3-5 new sales calls per day
  • Make a minimum of 3 proactive product presentations per week
  • Develop and make sales presentations
  • Maintain distributor inventory records
  • Manage and track quotations assigned to each account
  • Liaise with factory sales managers, taking them on sales calls
  • Work with the team on sales and orders


Quotations | Client Services Job Summary
The primary responsibility of the specification sales support position is projects direct coordination and response, with support to the sales team for specification cross, providing technical information as requested, and customer service to manufacturers or customers either via phone and email or in person.In this role you will also assemble, plan, and coordinate the quotations and estimates for large lighting projects for our customers.
 
This will be accomplished using proper bid strategies and careful consideration of all factors to ensure the best possible opportunity for securing bids. Customer service duties, including consulting with manufacturers and suppliers, as well as project managers and engineers is also a major component for this position.
